Hip to gable - left hand

If you are a semi or at the end of a terrace where the side roof is pitched, you have a number of opportunities. You will probably require a Hip to Gable conversion. The photos show how this is done by extending the ridge of the roof to the end and building.

We then build in the front roof by extending it across to form a gable end up to the side of the house, this gives a surprising amount of space.

The rear roof is removed to form a dormer where we would add in windows or large French doors with juilette balcony. This gives a great feel to the conversion with great light advantage and of course sometimes great views.
With this conversion you can have one or two bedrooms with bath or shower rooms.
It's a very popular conversion and we have many examples to show you.
